ESG Commitment

Sustainability is a cornerstone of our Group’s operations and growth. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are purposefully designed and their impact measured in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. This reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship, community upliftment, and the health and safety of all stakeholders within our ecosystem.
Our ESG Focus Areas:

Planet

In our pursuit to protect the environment, we have introduced a range of green initiatives across our properties that directly support the followings SDGs:

Affordable and Clean Energy
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Responsible Consumption and Production
Climate Action
Life on Land

Solar panels have been installed on the rooftops of several Coliwoo buildings, harnessing renewable energy to power our operations while reducing reliance on conventional sources. To further enhance energy efficiency, we have deployed cutting-edge smart building technologies that use intelligent motion sensors to monitor and regulate air-conditioning. These systems allow precise temperature adjustments that optimise air-conditioning performance without compromising the comfort of our tenants.

At 31 Boon Lay Drive, we created a “Green Corner” to promote a culture of reusing and recycling, and our tenants are encouraged to donate unused items, repurpose shopping paper bags, and safely recycle materials such as batteries, metal cans, and glassware.
Our Group’s employees also actively support Singapore’s OneMillionTrees movement through annual participation in tree planting events, thereby contributing to Singapore’s long-term vision of urban greening and ecological resilience.

People:

Creating A Fair Workplace and Safeguarding the Health and Safety of Our Employees

We are committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our employees, in support of the following SDGs:
Good Health and Well-Being
Decent Work and Economic Growth
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy protects employees and contractors through strict safety standards, regular assessments, and compliance checks. We focus on hazard identification and equip staff with risk response plans. Safety briefings and annual training on hazardous materials, working at heights, and general safety foster vigilance and readiness. Preventive measures like fire assessments and facility checks reinforce our commitment to a secure workplace.
We are committed to upholding the five key principles outlined in the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP) and complying with MOM regulations to ensure that hiring and career development are based strictly on merit.
We believe in nurturing in-house talent to drive the Group’s continued growth and success. To support lifelong learning, we offer sponsorships and gather feedback after each training session to ensure content remains relevant and valuable to our employees.
Enhancing Tenant Well-Being and Community Living

Our dedication to well-being extends to our tenants, as we strive to provide more than just accommodation. We foster vibrant and health-conscious co-living communities in alignment with the following:
Good Health and Well-Being
Sustainable Cities and Communities

This effort includes rigorous cleaning schedules, pest control, and property maintenance to uphold hygiene standards. Air purifiers are installed in communal areas to ensure clean indoor air quality.

To promote a sense of belonging and enhance mental and physical wellness, we organise regular community bonding events, group exercises, and enrichment workshops tailored to the interests of our residents.
Uplifting Underserved Communities Through Corporate Philanthropy and Volunteering

Beyond operational excellence and environmental protection, we are committed to creating positive social impact through corporate philanthropy. Aligned with the following SDGs, our approach involves mobilising the strength of our ecosystem—tenants, employees, and business associates—to maximise the reach of our CSR efforts:
No Poverty
Zero Hunger
Reduced Inequality
Partnership for the Goals

We support vulnerable communities through responsible procurement and hands-on volunteering, helping them achieve financial independence and a better quality of life.

To support meaningful community engagement, we open our communal spaces during off-peak hours to partnered charities for weekly academic coaching and enrichment activities for children from lower-income or single-parent families. This initiative reflects our commitment to purposeful use of resources—especially in space-constrained Singapore.
Governance:
High ethical standards in accordance with the Code of Corporate Governance 2018 is integral to our Group’s corporate identity and how we conduct our business. We maintain robust internal controls, as well as whistle-blowing and conflict of interest policies. We also ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in Singapore, and maintain transparency and accountability within our organisation.
